Great time and a beautiful little village of Grasmere. Only headache was our safe had a malfunction and wouldn’t open while our things were stored in it but thankfully the staff was able to sort it out. Lovely resort and food was delicious.

Relaxing, good for hikes

Relaxing comfortable place by a large lake, easy access to wonderful hikes in the hills. It’s not terribly busy even in the peak of the summer, it’s away from the crowds.

What a view

The location was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean snd spacious although we were disappointed it didn’t have a full lengh mirror. Breakfast certainty wasn't worth £30.

Wonderful hotel

We have never met such happy and helpful staff anywhere like this hotel! They are a really great team from reception and dining to cleaning staff. Well done!! A great hotel in the most stunning setting! We have had the perfect stay! Great walks around the lakes and mountain opposite. Literally minutes walk into beautiful Grasmere. Excellent Hotel with Great Views

It was a one night stay and we were welcomed from the very beginning and given helpful information on local attractions by Mohammed at the reception. The tepidarium, sauna and steam room were excellent. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
