"This is an amazing hotel. Excellent service, amenities, location, and attentive service. Rooms are clean and spacious. Comfortable beds and linen. The tea/coffee maker has many options for tea. Bathroom has both tub and shower options and has excellent toiletaries and makes etc. The breakfasts both Japanese and Western are top notch. We had an amazing stay here. Highly recommended."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Bamboo Town. It is in a quiet residential street less than 10 minutes from Enmachi Station and you get instructions how to get there in your information pack. It's 3 bus stops (roughly) from Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Temple) and we found it a good base for sightseeing in Kyoto by bus and train.
