"Unfortunately the only good part of my stay was how comfortable the bed was, but it stops short after that. It's so extremely dirty that I barely wanted to touch anything in the place, the common areas are also extremely dirty so it's not an inviting place to relax. "

"One of the few mid price hotels in Kyoto with an onsen. Rooms are small but nice. Opulent bathroom with wonderful pola products. Very good breakfast with both Japanese and western options. Convenient walking to Gion/ Higashiyama area. Easy access to 2 train stations. 10 minute taxi ride to JR station. A few improvements: there are no drawers so please provide more hangers. Bathrooms are large but lack counter space around sink so add shelves please. "
