"Can't say enough good things about this place! First, you can't beat the location. About a 5 min walk to the Grand Hirafu ski area (which is also a stop for the Niseko United shuttle to other ski areas), the Hirafu welcome center, Rhythm ski rentals, the village "downtown", etc. The room was very spacious and very clean. "The room view was great, and the weather was great on the first day, which is essential to enjoy the view of Mt. Yotei. The room was clean but not air-conditioned. Houses in Hokkaido are designed primarily for winter, so it wasn’t cool enough during high summer. Considering the level of global warming, I suppose an air-con will be a must in Hokkaido now... unless the present trend reversed and the climate gets cooler. Otherwise the stay was great!!!"

"Stayed in the self contained 1br. Large and spacious. Staff were very friendly, helpful and great at communicating via email prior to and during stay. organising pick up via bus and having our SIM cards delivered was a breeze. It’s a few minutes walk from the shuttle bus and a handful of restaurants and bars. About 5 mins to the gondola with the shuttle. "This hotel has a very good location - it’s a ~10-15min walk to the closest ski lift and plenty of restaurants, food trucks, and convenience stores nearby. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They are english speaking which made the whole experience much easier. They provided us with recommendations of the area and also helped us coordinate the ski lift passes beforehand, so we were able to receive it upon check-in. "Fantastic stay at the Cottage. Stayed for 7 nights with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Sakoto and the staff were absolutely amazing, were so helpful. Helped clear all the snow from the car every morning and the driveway. Would highly recommend a stay at the cottage. It's a 5 minute drive to the slopes, would recommend having a car to get around. "
