"Great ski in ski out location for Niseko Grand Hirafu. So convenient. Easy bus from Sapporo to the hirafu visitor center about a 5 minute walk away also. We loved the private onsen in our room. That turned out to be a highlight. Comfortable beds, clean room. The outside of the hotel looks a little rough. Needs a paint job but everything else was perfect!"

"Midtown Niseko was great. The staff were super helpful especially helping us with transit, picking us up at the Hirafu Welcome center, calling cab when we needed, etc. The hotel is just a little out of the super crowded areas. There is the free shuttles but we chose to walk most of the time into the busier restaurant area. It was about 15-20 mins in the cold and was doable with those shoe spikes (it’s very slick around here! And very hard to cross the road!) but hotel was perfect. Small rooms but really well appointed for staying organized with our tons of snow luggage and gear. Had convenient laundry too. Would def recommend! "

While many places in the surrounding area were closed, we actually loved the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It gave us a chance to fully enjoy the tranquility of the area and take in the beautiful natural surroundings. We spent a lot of time walking and hiking up the mountains, which was a fun and adventurous way to keep the kids active. After a long day of exploring, relaxing in the hotel’s onsen was just what we needed to unwind. Our room was absolutely stunning—spacious, modern, and with all the comforts we could ask for. It really felt like a luxurious home away from home, which made our stay even more special. AYA Niseko was a perfect base for our family trip, and we would love to come back again!"
