"Lovely hotel, great setting and communal areas. Really loved waking up and looking directly out to the river Thames. Comfy bed and pillow, great bathroom with powerful shower. Good variety of food at breakfast. Awful, weak filter coffee served at breakfast which really let it down. Really needs a decent coffee machine."

"We were made very welcome, our room was lovely and warm (important as it was very cold and frosty), lovely and clean. Bathroom with a bath, but no shower. Large, comfortable bed. Very cosy. Breakfast was great and kept us going on our 10 mile walk that day. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub, which was well cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful."
