"Apex Grassmarket is an outstanding hotel. Very nice staff that went out of there way to welcome us and make us comfortable...especially Thyna. She went above and beyond in changing our room to one with a walk in shower so I didn't have to step into a very high walled tub to shower. We had a great 4 day stay, comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and very close to the major attractions so walking everywhere was possible. A big plus is some great restaurants, pubs, shopping and a wonderful ice cream shop right across the street. We'll be back next year!!!"

"Great location to many of the historical sites of Edinburgh. The area is highly walkable; but, plenty of public transportation options if needed. The room is well appointed and spacious. Staff were very helpful and responsive."
