"We had a lovely overnight stay, picked because it was close to walking to the Festival Theatre. Room was lovely and large, bathroom nice and everything clean. Staff in the the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. Breakfat was very good a wide variety to choose from."

"Lovely hotel that is ideally situated in a lovely square with cafes and restaurants within easy reach of the main town. Good facilities and it is worth having a castle view room. Good choice at breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and hot choices. Staff are friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for my 60th Birthday stay especially Alistair on Reception. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if visiting Edinburgh. "

"The hotel room was a bit spartan, but the bed was comfortable enough, it was clean, and the basics all covered. The location is amazing though. Right by Waverley Station, perfect for buses to the airport, taxi rank very close. I can easily see myself staying there again. The only issue was the bedroom was overly hot and the window wouldn’t open sufficiently to ventilate it as much as I’d have liked. The price was very good as well."
