"Requested bed guards and high chair. None provided on arrival. Had to wait an hour for a high chair to arrive once checked in. Next day had to request more towels and glasses as only 2 towels left for family of four, dressed gowns were taken away and not replaced next morning too. Cocktails looked nothing like what we asked for (strawberry daiquiris). Nice clean hotel, over priced and not what I would expect from this chain of hotels and the price we paid for the suite for 2 nights. "

"The room was good, bed comfortable. The desk staff were good for the most part but the man who checked us in wasn’t particularly clear in his voice. He asked us if we’d booked breakfast - I thought we had. He said it wasn’t showing and asked us to check and come back and let him know. We didn’t come back, of course as 6 floors is a bit far to come down. It was my mistake as my booking seemed to not show the breakfast booking. "Right across from Waverly station and backed onto the Royal Mile. Surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants too. A 5 minute stroll across the bridge and you're on Princes Street. Hotel is immaculate. Bar service was a bit scatty but couldnt fault anything else. This was our second time staying here and we will absolutely be returning. 5 stars 🌟 "

"Bathroom: allthrough Clean, looks very designer spec. It is not realy pratical. Hooks are round horizontal pegs that allow whatever you try to hange on them to end up on the floor. A bent nail would have been more pratical.Sihk does not have a plug , it is designed that way , so tap must be left running and thats no good for the environment. Shower tended to leave a large puddle on the floor as it only has a half screen.Didnt like paper cups for the tea or coffee,. Again what a waste over a...
