"This hotel offers a great experience in terms of room size, bed comfort, and amenities. The spacious guest rooms and the large, inviting outdoor patio on the 5th floor were definite highlights. However, we were disappointed with the restaurant—specifically breakfast—which didn’t live up to the value of the food and beverage credit. The major downside was the elevator connecting the street level to the main lobby. It was frequently out of service, causing frustrating delays. On one evening, the issue led to a line stretching out onto the sidewalk with guests waiting to go up. This recurring problem significantly impacted the overall convenience of our stay."

"From arrival to departure, I loved my stay at this property. Upon arrival the staff greeted me warmly and accommodated my request for a corner room. My room was exactly what I needed, clean, well maintained, and relatively quiet. (There was construction going on across the street from 8am-5pm but I was mostly out the room during this time so it didn't bother me much.) The only issues that I experienced were the door keys weren't programming correctly when I got there so I had to wait a few hours for a room key (the bellman escorted me to my room so that wasn't a huge issue) and there was no counter space in the bathroom to lay out my curling iron, make up, etc. Both of these issues were minor inconveniences and didn't impact me enough to make a real difference in my stay. All in all, I really enjoyed this hotel and the area. I travel to NYC frequently for work and look forward to returning here soon."

"Very good location, close to metro. Room was good size (for NY standards) with comfortable bed. There were renovations going on so lobby was quite crowded at times. Also, my room on 12th floor was a bit noisy from 7th ave daily life."

"We took our dog with us and she started to cry when we left. The wonderful woman working with the construction company had an office next to our room. She watched our dog while we attended our daughter’s graduation without worrying. The staff is nice. They take a long time if at all to answer the front desk when I call. We called for blankets and no one ever came. Ms. Racquel was so wonderful. She was so professional, very nice, went above and beyond for us!"

"Ly New York Hotel has a very modern look that's a dream. Easy check-in and the front desk was wonderful. I had a concern with my initial room and it was fixed immediately. Very comfortable stay and only 10 minutes from LGA."
