The hotel had wonderful amenities. There was a happy hour every night with a complementary glass of wine or beer. Beautiful fireplace in the lobby/bar are to enjoy your libations. Complementary coffee and tea in the lobby from 7-11 am. Complementary bottled water in the guest rooms each day. Nicely updated bathroom. Unfortunately, hotel is tired looking. Wall repairs, updated linens, carpet replacement and tired looking floor length curtains in lobby need to be replaced.

The Ameritania is now my go to hotel when I travel into Manhattan. The location is great for about everything you want to do. I have stayed there many times. The staff is outstanding, really. They go out of their way to ensure your stay with them is positive and comfortable. The facility is nice. Not amazing, but better than most in this hotel range. Spend $500/ night if you want luxury, but this hotels value is outstanding.

The doorman Dave was the best part of the hotel. He helped us from arriving and making us feel at home, taking our luggage to our rooms and arranging our ride back to the airport. The hotel was in a great location next to times square, many bars and restaurants. Will definitely stay here next year

I loved the location of this hotel. It was perfect for what we were wanting to do in the city. The room was also quite large, especially for New York standards. However, our toilet would randomly run every few minutes and the shower was lukewarm. The key cards were hit or miss and would often take several swipes to work correctly. But overall, a nice hotel and a very convenient location.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the doormen! The complimentary wine happy hour was a perfect way to unwind in between Broadway shows. My room was spacious and comfortable, the rain shower was relaxing after a long day exploring the streets of New York. I would definitely stay at the Ameritania again.

Absolutely beautiful place. No expense was spared in the decor and artistic direction of this hotel. It was cohesive and modern. When I initially entered I noticed right away that this place smells AMAZING. Like luxurious cashmere perfume,but airy and not at all cloying. When I saw the wonderfully luxe Gallivant (French perfumerie)grooming products provided in the bathroom I could confirm that this place appreciates it's fine fragrance. The lobby bar is the standout. Big minimalist velvet couches flank a sleek fireplace. During the day fresh fruit and Ice water were provided,whoch we appreciated. In the morning,there was coffee as well. The door staff and front desk as well as housekeeping were friendly and helpful. C My only gripes are with the terribly designed shower and key cards which didn't work too well,but were replaced with no problem. I felt secure knowing that one needed a key card to use the elevator to reach the rooms. The showers (apparently theyre all this way?) Only has half a barrier/wall where one would expect a sliding or pocket door. I was constantly worrying about making a mess. Again,the products were super luxurious. They leaned masculine but I used everything and smelled delicious! I wouldnt let the shower stop me from staying here again. I look forward to the opportunity and you should definitely check it out if you're considering a trip to the theater district!
