"The hotel is a little way from the city centre but is oh so worth it. The hotel is a former rum warehouse and it was great to see so many of the original features had been preserved. Room was very large and well furnished. Bar area had a good atmosphere, the restaurant menu had a good selection, I had the lamb pasta which was excellent. Highly recommend paying to use the spa, not too busy, very relaxing. "

" I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The grounds are absolutely stunning—an old manor house with plenty of outdoor space, making for a peaceful and quiet retreat. The staff were incredibly friendly, and check-in was smooth and hassle-free. As expected with an older building, there are no lifts, which wasn’t an issue for me, but it might be for those who struggle with stairs.
