"The Hotel Lotus is a great hotel and has a modern feel. This was our 2nd time staying at Hotel Lotus. At the beginning of our trip to Iceland we spoke with the Owner of the hotel and told her we were coming back at the end of our trip and how we really liked the accommodations and location. "It was simple. If you want simple then it's for you. We would have loved a mini fridge, the hotel website said that the rooms had one but didn't actually. Advertising for a hot tub and sauna, but they are actually in the private gym next door and you need to go outside and in a different door to use them. We requested a double bed, and got 2 single beds, which wasn't terrible as we pushed them together but would have been nice to know. "

"This was a very nice hotel, we stayed here for our first night in Iceland. The reception was very helpful and nice, making check in easy. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower water temperature being wayyy too hot as the gauge seemed broken beforehand. We waited to see if the water would cool down after some time and it did not. The faucet ran very hot after that as well. "

"The staffs were amazing starting with a wonderful check-in experience. Parking for cars is sizeable and convenient. The offered free breakfast which included hot coffee...room was also convenient. The only things i would want improved upon is the addition of a small fridge in the family room and maybe a microwave. Besides these, Hotel 201 is indeed one of Reykjavik's best kept secret! It's all you want and you sure can't go wrong with it. "

"The view was amazing from the north (?) side. Beautiful mountains to see, as well as city view. Hotel has been renovated so everything was clean and new. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything for basic cooking. Only issue was a metal panel on the outside stairwell was loose and noisy flapping in the wind but otherwise it was a great place to stay!"

"The hotel was in a very amazing part of town. Within walking distance to some delicious restaurants and a lot of shopping options. It felt so safe, and it’s very convenient with at least three bus stops within two minutes of walk time. The staff was amazing and the spa is such a good touch at the end of a long day."
