"The property location was excellent. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and, bathroom was clean and water pressure was perfect. The front desk staff was very courteous. Tea, coffee, cookies, water, juice, cake was there all the time for the guests. Breakfast was very good. The hot tub and sauna was available 24 hours which was so good and relaxing. "Cozy and comfortable room. Location is within walking distance (10 minutes) of various places to eat and a grocery store. Does not have hairdryer and conditioner. The horse farm is about 10 minutes drive; highly recommend. The breakfast is ok but convenient (no bacon, no scrambled eggs; grill 66 has that and is 10-12 minutes walk). I would stay here again. "

"Excellent location if you have a car. Not good if need public transportation. Bus service is bad on weekends especially Sunday. We waited 40 minutes for a bus on Sunday. We had to use taxis which were quite expensive. "

"The good: the breakfast was fantastic; parking was convenient; the beds were comfortable; hotel staff very kind; check-in and check-out very fast and easy The 'meh': not at walking distance from downtown (we had a car so we didn't care, but without it, it would've been inconvenient); it was a tad too hot in the room; no room service for stays up to 5 days - the say they're doing it for the environment, but they could at least sweep the floors with a broom (that's carbon neutral!)"

"We stayed here for 3 nights on our first visit to Iceland. The hotel was in an ideal location - only a 15 minute walk from the bus terminal, right on the Laugavegur street of shops and restaurants but in the quiet area, 5 minute walk to the water edge for some stunning views of mountains. Staff were friendly and helpful, easy check in, clean and spacious rooms with a hot shower and clean bathroom, decent hot and cold breakfast options from 7-10. We had an early check out on our last day and the staff provided an early coffee and croissants before 7:00 (you just need to mention this the evening before). We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would happily stay here again. "
