The staff was lovely. The spa and rooftop bar were very nice added amenities. The location of the hotel is fantastic and walkable to pretty much anything in downtown Reykjavik. The view of the water and mountains was top notch to wake up to. I would definitely stay again.

ENTIRE BATHROOM BECOMES A SHOWER! ALSO LOUD PARTY HOTEL! Can't put floormat down, as entire floor becomes drenched. Big slip/fall hazard. 8th floor bar had parties 3/4 night's stay. Could hear loud bass music pounding through on 5th floor room. Complained to event coordinator and front desk. Nothing was done. Not worthy of 4 or 5 star hotel.

Absolutely an experience. Staff was pleasant, Breakfast was good. Spa was good, Location was great too. We have no complaints and we have stayed at numerous hotels and this is one of our best.

The location was great. My room had a view of the bay and the snow-capped mountains on the other side of the bay. It was walking distance to shopping, restaurants and many of the tourist attractions.

A central location for two common pickup points for tours. The view was great even though the room was a bit old. There seems to have a in-built heater, which heat up the toilet and the floor. A small window to allow some air flow but it could get quite cold at times! The front desk were very helpful, with checking in and information. Had a great and comfortable stay there for 10 days.

Very nice and comfortable lobby. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, when we asked then to show us the directions to certain places we had to go, they were very helpful and were willing to show us from the map. We were given a room with a harbour view which was absolutely stunning. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room so I didn't mind the room was small, in fact I think it was a decent size unless you plan to spend more time in your room. The only one thing I would pick on is the shower room. The shower shelter doesn't do anything at all, the floor was all wet after the shower. We had to dry the floor with the towel afterwards otherwise it would be a bit uncomfortable to enter the shower room/ toilet again afterwards. We visited the Sky Bar on the 8th floor on our last night, we sat next to the window with a stunning view that we could see the harbour and the concert hall. Staff at the bar are very friendly. The location of this hotel is great too, we had a few activities which required us to meet up at the bus stop 5 (Harpa) which is just cross the road from the hotel, very convenient. Also, great distance from the city centre so not a problem at all walking between the hotel and the city centre. Our overall experience staying at this hotel was excellent.

This hotel was great! It wasn’t above and beyond but it was not bad by any means. Perfect to come back and sleep. Parking was easy as it’s right there but you do have to pay, they only have about 4 parking spots for hotel guests. Rooms were clean for the most part. The shower was a bit strange but it made sense to fit in the bathroom. Got the job done! Spa was the best part and a nice perk. Beds were comfy! The room got very very hot at night we tried to switch the temp but it may have been Fahrenheit to Celsius issue not a. Fault of the hotel.

This was a little longer walk to the center of city than some of their other property’s. I would likely stay at on of their other locations next time. One has Jörgensen restaurant and the food was amazing.
