"The property location was excellent. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and, bathroom was clean and water pressure was perfect. The front desk staff was very courteous. Tea, coffee, cookies, water, juice, cake was there all the time for the guests. Breakfast was very good. The hot tub and sauna was available 24 hours which was so good and relaxing. "Beautiful unique location in a valley along a river surrounded by steaming mountains. On site restaurant was fabulous with some of the dishes cooked in the hotels hot spring. Service was excellent. The facilities seemed a little run down but clean. Pool was out of service but hot pots were excellent. "

"It's a nice location, the amenities are also nice. The breakfast menu could use some work but it's workable. Overall, it's not a bad place to stay with nice bar and gym adjacent. Close enough to downtown and to gas stations. If you are going to be taking some road trips. No water fountain within the property. I guess it's normal to get the water from the faucet here in Iceland so I won't take any points away for that. But the first day I didn't know and spent a good half an hour walking around...

"The good: the breakfast was fantastic; parking was convenient; the beds were comfortable; hotel staff very kind; check-in and check-out very fast and easy The 'meh': not at walking distance from downtown (we had a car so we didn't care, but without it, it would've been inconvenient); it was a tad too hot in the room; no room service for stays up to 5 days - the say they're doing it for the environment, but they could at least sweep the floors with a broom (that's carbon neutral!)"

Reykjavik Marina - Berjaya Iceland Hotels

"We stayed for 4 nights and loved it. The property is on the marina and is a lovely quiet area. It is a short walk from everything, and there are lots of restaurants within a short distance. Although there is no parking listed on the property details, we hired a car and there was lots of free parking behind the hotel in a safe area. We had breakfast included and there were lots of options available to suit all tastes. We arrived early after a very early morning flight hoping to have our luggage looked after, but they allowed us to check-in early which was brilliant. We even got upgraded for free to a residential suite instead of the double room we booked as I mentioned it was my partner’s birthday, and this was a really nice touch! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and provided great advice about the local area and any excursions. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again, can’t recommend enough!"
