We booked the cottage during our stay and it felt so warm and cozy. There's a restaurant across the street and their food was great. We ordered the Viking dinner and liked everything especially the seafood soup. The bathroom was very clean. My friend just had a little difficulty coming up and down the stairs of the cottage because it was steep and narrow. But overall, we recommend it to other groups of friends who love to travel

Nice cosy room with good kingsize bed, free use of the hottub outside and excellent breakfast. Very Nice restaurant across the street in Viking Village. Some rooms have clear view on the harbor with a chance of seeing the northern light above the accomodation. To We had a very pleasant stay, you have all this viking influences and decorations in and outside the hotel.

A lovely quirky hotel which was close to a bus stop.Staff were friendly and helpful. We booked trips through Reykjavik Excursions, who for a small additional fee, picked up and dropped off at the hotel. A very pleasant stay.

The staff is friendly but the property is in disrepair and needs a serious upgrade. The room we had was cramped and we could hear every sound from the nearby rooms and outside. The breakfast buffet was very expensive and not good.

This is a great spot - I loved the charm - free parking and free breakfast couldn’t be beat - part of parking lot was gated off - but otherwise no complaints- the girls working the night shift were delightful and helpful !
