The hotel is great, it’s in a really great location in between lots of different sights. They built a brand new part of the hotel which is so nicely designed. Staff is really friendly, and the Restaurant is so awesome, I actually felt like a Viking.

We stayed at the newly opened room. It was clean. The location is good. Flybus and other buses stops are right in front of the hotel. Very convenient to get to the airport and downtown Reykjavík by bus.

The Viking Hotel is a very nice hotel that’s been around since 1990. Though it’s older they are obviously enlarging the property and have done a good job to maintain the facilities. It’s very Viking themed which is quite unexpected today and was a lot of fun to dine there as well.

What a great hotel! It lies on the outskirts of Reykjavik in a beautiful harbor! It was a great home base after our cruise to see the south! They have just built the addition and it is gorgeous! Lovely appointed rooms, beautiful lobby! The whole hotel is being renovated. Loved the Viking themed restaurant on property, it was great fun! The seaside town is lovely too!
