"The staff was very helpful and nice! Oley(sp?) was always willing to give us tourist type pointers and hints. The breakfast was great! There was someone there monitoring the food to make sure it was fresh. It was a typical European breakfast with a waffle maker. 😊 The Hot tub is the same sulfur water that all the spas charge you for. And my husband loved the sauna. The Viking theme was extra fun. "

"Awesome stay for our family of four. We had a 2-room suite that had two twins in each room. Although we prefer a king bed for ourselves, the twins were perfect for the kids. The beds were really comfortable as well. The location was incredible with all the bars and restaurants within a block or two of the place. "

"Lovely room, nice decor and furniture and a decent size. Wifi was very good. Kettle in the room but there was a sign saying no cooking so I presume that means you can't use the kettle for making noodles. There is a grocery shop just behind the hotel which was very convenient. In front of the hotel is the seafront which was very nice."

"We needed a place to stay last minute and were able to get a room that satisfied our needs for a very good price. Our room had a window facing the front of Hallgrimskirkja church so the location was about as good as you can get in Reykjavik. It was close to many excellent restaurants and downtown shops. The bathroom was very small (about 18 square feet, 1.7 square meters) but it did the job. Breakfast was included with the room and was quite good. I had local Skyr each morning."

"This was a very nice hotel, we stayed here for our first night in Iceland. The reception was very helpful and nice, making check in easy. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower water temperature being wayyy too hot as the gauge seemed broken beforehand. We waited to see if the water would cool down after some time and it did not. The faucet ran very hot after that as well. "

"We came to Iceland not knowing what to do and where to go. Faruk, the fantastic front desk associate, was the most helpful guide ever! He had all the insider tips and he shared them all. We highly recommend this hotel—just for the convenience factor as well! Great location for everything. We barely used the car we rented. Overall-this hotel was perfect for our trip! Thank you Faruk!"
