"the room is very spacious. be warned that it is a couples hotel but overall my bf and i enjoyed the hotel room. the room we had, had a ‘all you can drink beer’ faucet which my bf loved. the area is inconvenient because the nearest train station is about 17 mins by walk, but not unbearably bad. we did notice pubic hair under the sheets, but that was the only thing that was unclean. stuff like amenities were free as long as you bring them back to the front desk area. all and all, would come back...

"This was further away from Kyoto than I realised. But the room was clean and the breakfast was great. There was a funny smell (damp I think), and the hotel rooms could do with a refresh, but it was fine for a couple of nights."

"It is a " love hotel " which it doesnt tell you on expedia , and the location is far away from everything including the train ( 2km) 30 min walk . But as a hotel it was great !! Clean and cleaned every day clean towels , sheets, a Great jacuzzi tub and a good shower . Everything you could want in a room. Big bed , big screen tv , karaoke and a fridge , microwave , a stand up fan good , and good air conditioning . Honestly its an amazing room for the price . But it is a love hotel ."

"This hotel has great rooms for cheap prices. Our room had a complication but the hotel staff upgraded our room no questions asked and were very apologetic for the issue. 4 stars. I'd give it 5 stars if there wasn't an issue with the original room, but how the staff reacted to the issue was exceptional!"

Neither tub was usable. The sauna light was burned out. The pillows with the futons didn't have pillow cases. "The property was well maintained; everything appeared to be brand new or very clean. Japanese artwork around the house added to the experience and gave it the feeling of a real traditional home. The host greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour, using his phone to translate. The only drawback was that the nearby bus to Takeda station comes around once every hour. Overall, excellent for a stay if you plan public transport carefully in advance."
