"My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We were in San Antonio to celebrate his birthday. From the front desk to the valet staff everyone did an amazing job. "Menger was not my choice. It was my half sister visiting from Germany. Most hotels are just a place to rest your head. The hotel and its history had me hook line and sinker. The area is filled with early American history and the hotel is a big part of it. I loved my stay and the visit with my sister that I only met 2 years ago thanks to a DNA site. I am 62 and she is 60 and lives in Germany. Anyway, it is a wonderful place to stay and has a lot of interesting and somewhat haunted history. I would love to visit there again someday."
