"It's a historic hotel that's right across the street from the Alamo and a couple short blocks from the Riverwalk. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was substantial with many options for everyone. We enjoyed our stay here."

"Building is not well maintained. It is dirty. The housekeeping left open their facilities rooms so guests had to walk by them all the time. Outlets were so old and used that anything you plugged in would fall out immediately. It’s in serious need of overall updating. "

"We appreciated that the facility had very secure parking lot. The staff were helpful and courteous. The area was noisy at times, but we figured it was due to a convention group that was in town."

"Place was pretty average. Bed sheets and pillow cases smelled like someone’s hot breath so I doubt they changed them. Plus they had fingerprints as if someone ate chips and grabbed the blanket. Luckily we had our own cases and comforters. Shower didn’t really have good pressure. Could use some updating. "
