"The long drive and grounds are beautiful. The lift was broken and no attempt to ask anyone to help me with cases and bags . The shower was great but the angle of spray kept flooding the floor so we used 3 towels permanently to soak up the water so we could use the bathroom and the fan was very noisy "

"Lovely welcoming feel. Having stayed there a few times now, certainly some bedrooms are decidedly better than others in same category. Breakfast could be a bit more varied, but does the job. Evening meals are good. Fresh milk in the bedroom fridge which is a welcome change to those awful longlife little plastic pots you usually get. Comfortable bar and seating areas."

"Great location and staff very helpful and friendly. There was a wedding happening whislt we stayed there and apart from seeing the bride and groom doing their photos we didnt even know a wedding was happening. Nice countryside walk into Thame as well. If i had to find issues then the room could have done with some complimentary water and dressing gowns though which was a bit of a surprise considering we were in a suite and the cost of it. Car park is a bit of a walk if its raining. However...

"Hotel in very good position. Easy to walk into the centre, approx 15 mins. There's also a regular bus service if you prefer. Rooms are a little tired like most old houses. Parking was a bonus. It was also very clean. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good quality produce but a bit chaotic in the dining room the 2nd day.
