"From the very moment we arrived. A very friendly doorman who greeted us with a smile and was very welcoming. Front staff were very quick and efficient, organised our room very early which we were very grateful for. Breakfast was fantastic and great options. Cleanliness of the room was superb also. Very good experience and would very much recommend to anyone who wants to experience Edinburgh."

Donald is a credit to the hotel , so friendly and helpful we had a lovely chat with him. The room was gorgeous , loved all the little extras. "Lovely modern hotel in an excellent central location. Large suite with a big bathroom. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Could have done with a touch more decorative items but no complaints, the bed was very comfortable. Food and service was very good. Have stayed before and will again. "

Hotel Bar was awesome - Christmas Decor beautiful throughout. If we ever go back to Edinburgh I will be staying at The Scotsman and would recommend it to anyone. "
