"Staff was extremely helpful and courteous, we stayed at Tango Inn for a week stay and the rooms were clean and most importantly well insulated that I didn’t hear stomping or noise from neighboring units. The rooms size are reasonable by Taipei standards but foreigners from the US may consider it small. The free wifi was nice but it kicks you off network once in awhile and that was the only negative experience I had. Overall, this place is highly recommended. "

"This hotel was a great choice as our first hotel in our Taiwan trip. It is so close to Taipei central station and other MRT stations which made travel around the city very easy as well as convenient. The staff were all very pleasant and kind, I even received a birthday card as well as cake as we arrived a day after my birthday. The breakfast was pretty good and offered some variety. The room was very spacious, the beds very comfortable and everything was kept very clean."

"The hostel is located 5min walking distance from Taiwan central station, which is the hub for high speed train, local train and subway. We arrived closed to mid night, the streets were quiet with only few places still open for food. We walked around and felt safe. The staff in the hostel is on duty 24h and all the facilities worked well. We had a room for 3 of us, it has a bunk king bed, the standing area was very small, but the beds were big and comfy. "You can tell this used to be a pretty good hostel and there are still some great things about it. However, it needs some tlc (tender loving care) to get it back up to par. Based on photos we saw, it looks like the lobby used to have a place to sit and change your shoes. That would be great, since you have to remove your shoes before entering each time. "Very nice to have a washer and dryer available for free. The dryer did take a long time to work though. Appreciate the complimentary coffee machine and instant noodles at night. The hotel was very clean. My main concern is the small room size. My wife and I had to stack our checked luggage to fit it all. Also, our room only has 2 power outlets besides the ones in the bathroom. Made it difficult to charge everything. Pleasant staff who were able to help with directions "

"Clean comfortable and well appointed this apartment next to Taipei Main station was perfect for our first night in Taiwan. We were lucky to pick it up last minute at a reduced rate. It was well appointed with two large double beds. The shower was good and the small kitchen had everything you need for a short stay. My only criticism is that there are no bedside lights and only one has a power socket. Communication was clear and easy to follow. We would definitely look to stay here again. "

"After I took the Taoyuan Airport Express Train to the last station named Taipei Main Station I exited Gate 5 and turned right (South). I kept walking with my luggage for about 500 meters and the Via Hotel was very next to the Family Mart store (at the corner). If you want to take MRT to other places the nearest one was NTU Hospital and it was very close to the hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff was polite and helpful (they gave me a copy of the MRT map). I chose a room with no window....

"We stayed here couple days after our cruise. It was Chinese New Year so everything nearby was close except for 711 and FamilyMart. There's a nightmarket nearby that was open the day before the new year which was good. Walking distance to the mall about 15 minutes. There's a little grocery store next door. Our reservation came with breakfast. Breakfast was ok, they had the usual, bread, cereal, vegetables, eggs, sausages, no bacon. But the coffee is good I love the lobby so clean. The room we had was spacious, clean and quiet. The streets were clean. The staff were nice and helpfull. Raymond help us book a taxi to the airport. We would stay here again."

"It was my first time visiting Taiwan and a friend of mine recommended this hotel to me so I thought to take their advice, and easily it was the best decision! Very easily accessible and when I arrived at check-in, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and efficient, one of the receptionists (I'm sorry I can't quite remember her name) was very kind to escort me to the elevators and give me a brief explanation of the hotel's facilities and especially the Spa on the top floor that was great to use on my last night! Wonderful stay with excellent and friendly staff!"

"We had fantastic and memorable time at Regent Taipei. The staffs were so kind to the customers, especially Yuki and Jenny from Taipan lounge, since arrival they welcomed us with lovely smile and assisted us with everything! And Jasmine from Robin’s Grill, we had amazing meal (I highly recommend this place). From their amazing customer service, we will definitely come back this year! The room was amazing and neat as well! Thank you so much and Happy New Year! "
