"A really beautiful hotel and location. The room was in good condition and the grounds and hotel was well looked after. The only draw backs were that the bathroom light was on a sensor timer which meant it stayed on longer than desired and there was also a very large puddle covering the entrance to the hotel but this could have been due to the very heavy rain."

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Spacious room. Plenty of parking. Down sides, restaurant was closed for a function, we did not know until arriving at check in desk. This did not impact us this time but may impact others. Hotel is out of Salisbury town centre, but there are bus stops very close to the hotel . Buses are frequent and very reasonable. This makes the hotel accessible to town. Would I use the hotel again? - Yes "

"Lovely little place to stay near longleat zoo , will advise to stay at the side of the pub as they have a garage on other side of the road , very bright lights and they come through the blinds. otherwise all good breakfast was good "

"Lovely break and everything for littles has been considered. Sometimes found it tricky to find staff as front desk wasn't always manned. Floor in the indoor pool very dangerously slippy (six of our party including all of the children/babies slipped quite badly despite walking carefully) and pools were quite cold for the littles. Would be nice to have childcare options during mealtimes so adults can enjoy lunch whilst the kids play for example, and the den was just brilliant so would have loved...

"The home is lovely and has a picturesque hallmark card exterior. We were greeted by the owner, a lovely woman that was very forgiving of us arriving so late. Very accomodating and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was superb, with a good selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereal and cooked breakfast; all table specific with no need to share with other guests. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom spacious and including both shower and bath. There was a small tv in the bedroom and...

"We stayed for 1 night in an annex room (the stables). If you stay in the pub, you might have noise, but the annex was quiet and it was a Friday night! The room is very close to the beer garden and has an amazing view (closes at 10pm). Parking is in the rear next to the annex rooms. It's a tight squeeze between the buildings if you have a large car! The room was small, but adequate for a 1 night stay. Amazing bakery next door for your breakfast! Enjoyed our stay and would stay again."
