"Was perfect for our one night stay. We’d booked a treat dinner in bath, at Menu Gordon Jones - highly recommend - and this spot was great for driving in and out of bath. Everything was great, didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment. Only downside is the property is a bit noisy, can hear every footstep from upstairs and we were situation on ground floor near the ladies bathroom, so could hear the hand dryer every time I got used. "We haven’t been to Stanton Manor for 15 years and were very happy with our stay. Lovely friendly welcome at reception and an easy check in. Super clean and comfortable room which had been recently refurbished. Food was delicious, served quickly and all staff were great! We’ll def be back "

"The hotel and grounds were very cool and quirky. Lots of unusual artwork which gave it a great atmosphere. The breakfast and dinner were outstanding, absolutely delicious and Marco showed an appearance. The staff in the restaurant are friendly and provide a great service. "Stayed in one of the family rooms in the separate building - a bunk bed downstairs and queen upstairs with en-suite. Room was clean, well-appointed and worked well to get the kids to sleep allowing adults to relax upstairs. Room service menu and quality of food were excellent. Spa and internal and external pool were great, but strict kids hours in the internal pool meant we actually had to swim/play in sub zero temperatures - which was not ideal and quite rude. "The hotel oozes character with timbered walls, wonderfully wonky floors and beautiful vaulted ceiling bedrooms. The large bed was very comfy. It was quiet and a pleasant 10-15 min walk mostly through the Cathedral grounds to the city centre. I’d definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and it’s friendly staff. "
