"I love this place! I came back here after having an amazing stay over Christmas. The staff are lovely and the rooms are cozy. The village is beautiful, quiet, and very serene. The canal is nearby and is a lovely walk. The view from my room overlooked the village, valley, and Avon River. With the frost on the ground, it turned magical! "

"From checking in at the bar you know that the quality of the room is going to be of a good standard as the pub itself is very nice modern but still classic feel of a country pub. Ate in the pub 1st night of the stay and food was a very standard and reasonably priced for the quality. Only slight negative we had was that although it’s in a quiet village a lot of traffic seems to come through it and can be heard in the accommodation. King size four poster bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Only concern was the very hot towel rail adjacent to the loo, I’d hate to lean against it whilst having sampled one to many of the ales downstairs. "
