Lovely hotel

Beautiful location and great staff, the room was cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice and good quality food. The only niggle was that I was on the second floor and there was no lift.

Was perfect for our one night stay. We’d booked a treat dinner in bath, at Menu Gordon Jones - highly recommend - and this spot was great for driving in and out of bath. Everything was great, didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment. Only downside is the property is a bit noisy, can hear every footstep from upstairs and we were situation on ground floor near the ladies bathroom, so could hear the hand dryer every time I got used. However, the place quietened down naturally at around 11pm and we slept pretty well. Would rebook.

Ok for short stays

It is ok for short trips. The temperature in the room is too hot. The hotel has lots of cobwebs above chandeliers etc.. The restaurant in the hotel Is just average. The stuff friendly.

An overnight stay and no breakfast but we were very comfortable. Our room was very clean and we were welcomed at reception. The building is interesting historically. We would definitely stay again.

Good stay. They upgraded us which was nice. It was a nice stay and good breakfast. Cups not big enough for room coffee machine and no milk pods so not enough general milk left on room. Otherwise no problems.

October mid week stay for 2 nights

Efficient service, with friendly staff. Rooms comfortable, quirky though a little tired and heating was efficient. Good buffet breakfast choice and evening meals were all excellent. Good location for driving to Bath and walking in to Bradford on Avon.
