"Fantastic place to relax"

"Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . "Despite being very busy there was very little or no wait to be served. The outside of the building could do with a few repairs and freshening up but this did not have any impact on our stay. "

"Booked an overnight at short notice. This hotel was perfect. We ate in the restaurant which was amazing. Staff were incredible. Breakfast was perfect!! A perfect stay in an incredible setting. "

"I have just had a lovely stay here. The room was very comfortable and clean. I noticed a previous review saying that the room was cold. I put the heater on and it was warm in 5 minutes. The staff were amazing especially check in at reception, the bar and the lovely lady at the spa. They were all so helpful and attentive. I had a lovely time at the spa. Room service was nice. It was such a relaxing stay. I will stay again."
