"Fantastic property. 16 of us for a family birthday. Lots of different spaces so we werent on top of each other all the time. The teens really enjoyed the games room. It was also great having all of us round the huge dining table. Location is ideal so we walked in to Galashiels and also in to tweedbank , no need to get in the car. "

But, we were particularly and pleasantly surprised to find our VRBO accommodations at the Hope Scott Wing to be excellent! The house is both comfortable and impressive. "This private and bijou rental is an absolute gem! In lovely rural setting, it is very cosy and enormous care has clearly been taken to think through every need a guest might have. Wherever you look there are thoughtful beautiful artistic touches. The host is friendly, informative and very responsive to any questions. The cottage is well situated to visit Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island (Lindisfarne). Within easy reach are shops and restaurants. The 'Taj Tandoori' provided the best Indian meal...
