"Great location on Main Street with multiple bar, cafe and food options. Close to historic abbey, Trimontium and historic walking routes (Bishops Way, St Cuthberts Way, Reivers trail) along with the Eilden Hills and Iron Age sites. staff and entire town were very friendly and helpful - recommended "

"Bedroom heater was not working so we were given an upgrade ro a superior room. Would recommend a visit."

"Despite being very busy there was very little or no wait to be served. The outside of the building could do with a few repairs and freshening up but this did not have any impact on our stay. "

The food was delicious and the head chef was so thoughtful that she put a vegetarian dish on the menu for me. We only planned to stay one or two nights but couldn’t bring ourselves to leave and ended up staying 4 nights. "
