"It’s an old building with charm and character. Well situated to the Octagon and other city tourist sites. Parking on the street. Rooms and beds are small but adequate. Appeared to have a well patronised restaurant. Lovely aromas greeted you at the door. The doors and lift shut earlier than advised. "

"Cons. No safe, no aircon and pay for parking in secure carpark. Pros. Good central location for main town and train station. Only minutes walk. Lots of eating places nearby and a large supermarket close by. Hotel clean, tidy, friendly staff and room had microwave fridge and sink. Cutlery also supplied which allowed us to make breakfast in room. Additional bonus was a washing machine and dryer in laundry room which was free to use and hotel even supplied washing powder free of charge. Cannot...
