"Lovely hotel. We had a room upgrade as it was a birthday which was great. Customer service when we arrived on reception was not great. There was no enthusiasm to see us or smiles from the man. I think he was new as unsure in himself. But even so he could be more welcoming "

The hotel is excellent value, conveniently located on the route north or south and in beautiful grounds. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. But the single best part of stay was the staff. With absolutely no exception they were truly exceptional. Polite, helpful, fun, and considerate. They cannot be faulted. We will definitely stay here again."

"It is such a beautiful and peaceful place. The lodge was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Walking along the lake is beautiful. There's lots of nice activities too so especially for children. We took a speed boat in the lake which was exciting. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, the minigolf, playing ping pong and the arcade. The food in the restaurant was delicious too. We'll definitely be going again :)"

"Hotel in a great position, as has view across the estuary, is near to shops, eateries and railway station. Nearby bus stop for trips into Blackpool. Friendly staff, good breakfast and nice room. Would recommend for a relaxing stay."
