We were met by the host, Jennifer, who made us feel very welcome and could not do enough for us. "The owner has spared no expense on renovations. The property has been expertly redone by an interior designer using very high end materials. The sound proofing between rooms is amazingly good. The neighbourhood is lovely and very quiet. The owner has strict rules in the house. While I can totally respect that, it felt as if we weren’t fully welcome. "Great stay at The Old Stone Trough. Restaurant was too busy on the second night to be able to eat though. However, I believe there is a local eatery close by. Staff very lovely in the restaurant and house staff. "
