"Quiet resort in front of the ocean. Beach adjacent to the property down few steps directly to the sand on a beautiful small beach. Rental chairs and umbrella at the resort for reasonable price. Surf lesson available at the resort. Restaurant on site is excellent. Rooms ground level partial ocean view with seating area are excellent location. Highly recommended "

"The beach is the absolute star of the show. Love the different pools and landscaping throughout the property. Some areas need a little repair with some walkways with missing or crumbled stones. The pools were open until 10pm which was so nice but towels were not available poolside after 5pm. You had to go upstairs to the valet which was odd and inconvenient. I noticed that used glasses and debris were left in sitting areas, lobby, walkways, for lengthy amounts of time. The room itself was well...

"Loved the pools and dining options however they were understaffed at the restaurants so we had to wait for a long time for drinks, food and our check with two sleepy babies. Our room was also kind of far from the lobby, again with two kids not easy to navigate with stroller and beach bags but we made it work just lots of walking. "

"Lovely resort. Comfy room. Some strange interactions with the valet upon arrival. They were confrontational and laughed at my husband when he asked a question. Overall, I don’t think the staff was very happy as we had few positive interactions. Very pretty grounds. Loved the tranquil pool. "

" Royal Sonesta is a high quality resort with immaculate structure and furnishings. There are plenty of restaurants (although quite pricey), beautiful grounds and gardens and an amazing pool. It’s a step across a walkway to the beach."
