"This was our second time staying in this hotel. Although somewhat outside the town, it still seems to be a focal point for locals. It covers a huge area and, on both occasions, our rooms were a fair step from the reception but the room was spacious clean and well maintained. The bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning actually worked. The breakfast selection was extensive and well provisioned. Lots of parking at a reasonable cost. All in all, highly recommended"

"I loved the hotel. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Very clean, slightly tired in places but not a problem at all. The room was comfortable with a good shower. The gym was well equipped for a hotel and the pool a good size. The grounds are beautiful and a lovely area for a walk. Breakfast was really good quality with as much as you wanted. Very good for the price"

"Wonderful room (which we would like to stay in again) and the only tiny niggle was a poorly flushing toilet, which perhaps just reflects older plumbing arrangements. Great spa and, having stayed several times before, we noticed that the restaurant, which had always been good, seemed to have stepped up a notch into fine dining. We really enjoyed the meals, including the breakfasts, with great service from the restaurant staff. The grounds are always a pleasure to explore and not least this time in excellent April weather. Danesfield House never seems to disappoint!"
