"Location on the water is pleasant and has a nice marina view and is very convenient for kayaking and swimming with manatees. The hotel is old and needs work but it was clean and the bed comfortable. The TV remote did not work so had to turn it off on the TV and couldn't watch TV. The very nice receptionist had no clue how to fix it. "We enjoyed our 1-night stay at The Plantation Resort. Staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was relaxing and the bar Manager, Shelly, poured delicious margaritas! Shelly was super sweet. We loved swimming with the manatees in Crystal River and we hope the staff is safe from the recent hurricane. This is an older property, but our room and bathroom was clean, had a mini-fridge, and we ate a delicious breakfast the next day on property. "

No notice I was with my 91 year old mother. I did not want to be in the room while they painted outside the bathroom had no lock just a handle we were moved to another part of the hotel that had already been painted but they were sealing the cracks in the sidewalk of course we got that all over our shoes and my...

"This is our 4th year staying here and we love it! It’s in a perfect location and the dock can accommodate our 21’ boat and our sons 17’ boat. Plenty of room for the trailers. The house is always clean and they added a cute manatee mural in the dining room. With 6 of us there is plenty of room where you’re not bumping into each other. The pool is an added bonus! I love that I can bring my fur baby. We had a little emergency with her, so if you ever awesome!"
