"Great location and liked the decor and dining options. Very accessible for tube and getting about. Walkable to many London sights. Only negatives - the spacious lounge is occupied by lots of student types on laptops so there was nowhere for us to sit on a couch and enjoy a drink over our 2 day stay - unless we wanted 8am. I dont believe they were residents of the hotel. "

"I love quirky boutique hotels and this was that. I was in London to see a few shows and The Fielding was within walking distance of each theatre, as well as to Covent Garden, Covent Garden Station, and other activities I had planned. The huge stains on the carpeting in the room and the "dripping stains" on the wall near the headboard did give me pause. The room definitely needed some updating and cleaning. "This is now my go-to hotel for opera and theatre in the West End. Despite temperatures in the low 40's I didn't need a coat to walk across the street to the Royal Opera House. My room was charmingly decorated with a modernized bathroom featuring very hot water and excellent water pressure. the coupon for two complimentary cocktails were put to good use in the restaurant and the library lounge. Radisson Blu Hotel, London South Kensington (formerly Vanderbilt)

"The location is amazing. Very close to the underground station. There are stairs to access the building (approx 8-12?) so if you have mobility issues it might cuz a problem. The hotel is a maze and the elevator is very small. The rooms are also quite small as well. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and definitely worth adding to your stay. If you don't mind the small inconveniences (small rooms and stairs) it is a great hotel in a very safe and great location. I would stay here again if I was returning to London. The gym was also very nice. It does have a very small fridge if you are looking for a fridge. "
