"I love this place! I came back here after having an amazing stay over Christmas. The staff are lovely and the rooms are cozy. The village is beautiful, quiet, and very serene. The canal is nearby and is a lovely walk. The view from my room overlooked the village, valley, and Avon River. With the frost on the ground, it turned magical! "

"Lovely and cosy with fantastic breakfast and welcoming host with really good knowledge of the local area and the best places to visit and other tips. Really good sized room and bathroom and would fully recommend. Much more friendly and homely than the usual hotels we stay in."

"Plus: Warm and dry, and hot water in the showers. Also met some lovely people. Cons: Some of the guests and staff are not so lovely. Some of the men were discussing their experiences with prostitutes in the kitchen (there were children in the room) and one of the guests in my dorm was trying to pick up arguments, talking very loudly, slamming doors etc. Another one was on the phone (in the dorm) until nearly 11pm. "Great location near Bath, wonderful property. Room was great size,very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent."

"Nice warm and clean room called Ashley. Comfy bed and nice touches like a jar with fresh baked cookies with the tea and coffee. Only issue was the Bathroom light was on a sensor which meant it went out when you were in the bath shower or on the toilet. Very good breakfast and evening meals although a bit limited in the number of meal choices. This meant we only ate on one evening as we did not fancy the other things on the menu"
