"Friendly staff but overall an aging building. Elevator is stupid slow. Workout room is a joke with some equipment that must be 30 years old. Nice outdoor hot tub. Room was fine, but could use with new curtains/shades, especially if you face the mountain as they keep a bright light on for some reason. Can't beat the location, but like all things RCR they really could use to invest in maintenance and upkeep a bit more."

"We had a great stay here! Even though the cold pool and waterslides were closed they still had the warm pool and the hot tubs working and our 2 year old had a blast splashing around! Beautiful property and it wasn't too crazy busy which we enjoyed. Overall we had a lovely stay!"

"The heated outdoor pool was the highlight of the stay for my family. We got a one bedroom suite with a full sized kitchen and it was quite roomy. The couch was large, with 2 additional chairs. The dining table was quite large for 4 people. The outdoor electric BBQ didn't work because someone had put a lock code on it, so I cooked indoors instead. The patio door leading out from the living room had a jammed lock so we had to go throught the master bedroom to the patio instead. The...

"For an older motel it is very solid building. The rooms are updated, not fancy, but they are certainly not run down for the age. Good bed. Everything was clean and working order. Worth the $100/night savings for the drive from the Hwy Hotels to downtown Golden."

"Close to restaurants. Mostly quiet except some moron with a big truck started it up at 6 am and left it running for 15 minutes."
