"This is a fantastic home 5 min away from Invermere. We attended the Family Day Skating and skiing at Panorama.This property is on a quiet road, wooded area. It easily slept us , our adult children and their spouses and two grandkids. There were 8 of us in total. We had a great time. The home has al the amenities, a well supplied kitchen with plenty of utensils, dishes and cutlery, and excellent appliances all in excellent condition. "South Swell was the best place we've stayed in Tofino. Considering that we've vacationed there numerous times since our honeymoon 32 years ago, that's saying a lot. Our family joined this time and we all found the stay to accommodate all our needs, and then some. From the size to the location, and to all the amenities, we were delighted to have built lasting memories in Kelly & Bob's place. Speaking of which, the two of them greeted us and quickly responded to our requests...the communication...

"The unit was in great condition and made for a fantastic stay. The location was basically perfect and is just a short walk from the bus stop, grocery store, and several restaurants. My only real feedback is that the bathroom would benefit from a proper hand towel holder - super minor issue."

"Duncan Lake Escape is the most amazing getaway! The drive is beautiful and once you arrive you’ll feel like you’ve truly escaped to a relaxing retreat in the middle of nowhere! The cabin is quite spacious but cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has all the tools you need to prepare your meals and drinks away from home (from a cocktail shaker, mixer, cake and muffin tins, plenty of dishes, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, etc). "We enjoyed our stay at this house! We enjoyed the beautiful view and watching the snow fall over the lake. There is plenty of room to spread out in the house, the bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious, the dining table seats a large group comfortably, and the game room kept everyone entertained! We had a great time on our winter getaway!"

"I liked the separate entrance and they had fairly good outside security lights, but did not light up when we needed them to all the time. They've got a good start on these suites, but they are not finished yet. Also comma expired food left in the fridge and not the amenities to be expected in a vrbo. There was a used bar of soap in the bathroom. Not going to be using that on my BOD. "
