"Eduardo and all of the staff were super friendly. The room and bathrooms were spotless. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Restaurants and stores are within walking distance. You can rent a bicycle to go to the South side of the overpass to the lagoon. "

"For the price, Colorbox is a good option to stay close to Tulum (the hotel is located15 km north of the city), the Maya ruins of Coba, and various beaches. It's clean and no frills (no closet or dresser, or even a single hook). You get a clean and comfortable bed and a good shower with hot water. While close to the highway (and you hear it), the property itself is quiet and appeared safe. Note that there are no lock boxes in the rooms and we opted to have valuables with us at all times. "Full week with our three grown kids, their spouses, and four granddaughters... The property was amazing, interior, exterior, pool and beach! The staff was outstanding from breakfast through dinner including mid-day Margaritas for the adults and smoothies for the kids. The owner, Barbara, was incredibly helpful with advice for transport for 11 of us from and back to the airport and excursions. Within a couple of days of arrival we were all trying to figure out how and when we could repeat."
