"This was our second time staying at Fort Ross for our winter mushroom foraging girls trip, as two young women we felt safe staying at this lodge. The staff was accommodating, and friendly they were happy to recommend trails, beaches and restaurants. We warmed up in the hot tub and sauna after a cold day in the forest. The gas fireplace in the room made the room nice and cozy perfect for curling up with a book! The lodge even offers guided mushroom hikes on their exclusive trails. We’ll be back soon 💖"

"Very friendly woman who did our checkin. She pointed out where our room would be along with other accommodations like vending machines and ice. Beds are also very comfortable and it is very spacious. Only negative thing was just the toilet paper we found in the bathroom toilet while we were touring the room. Other than that, it was amazing!"
