After being shown to a basement apartment, which we found rather stale and cheerless, we were relocated to a quiet and well-appointed studio on the second floor. Much better. The room was surprisingly big in comparison to other London hotels, and the bathroom was spacious too. Our room didn't seem to have a mini fridge and there was panels falling off the desk where I assumed they closed it shut, but we didn't really need it. A/C seemed to be controlled centrally, and though I didn't have any issues, I heard other guests complaining about the heat, so...
