"Check-in was efficient and welcoming. George was on reception and a really lovely guy, polite and courteous. Our room was a small twin room on the 3rd floor (there was a lift). Compact bathroom with shower and toilet. Kettle, hair dryer provided with sachets of tea and coffee. Flat screen TV with Freeview. Simple, clean, compact room, perfect to use as a base. 5 minute walk to Kings Cross and lovely pubs minutes away. Camden Market is a 35min walk. Will definitely stay again when back in London....

"Lovely Hotel, very quirky. Service was fantastic. Little of beaten track, but only a short walk from 2 tubes and bus near by. Massive bed and so comfy."

"The location is decent with two tube stations very close (Farringdon and Chancery Lane). Costa Coffee is next door, a few pubs and other restaurants just a short walk away. I stayed in an economy single room, which was in the basement and it was the only room down there. It was kind of odd. The bathroom was nice and modern with a waterfall shower head, though the towels were incredibly rough/scratchy. "This is such a treasure in central London! Just steps from Farringdon underground on the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow airport. Huge room with comfy bed; modern large bathroom with fluffy towels. Pub noise (not loud) stops promptly at 11pm. Host was friendly and helpful. Lots of old pubs and nice restaurants just minutes away."

"Good location especially for the City and reasonable value for money given extortionate price of hotels at this time of year. Room could have done with a more thorough cleaning - quite a lot of dust on surfaces and lightbulbs. Service mostly friendly and efficient but the male receptionist was somewhat sullen but everyone can have a bad day I suppose "
