"I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfy this hotel was, needed a low cost last minute night. Free parking, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the beds were really comfy, tv had good selection of channels including Disney plus and Netflix, which was great for us as there was a bad storm at the time. "Wonderful! Such a friendly welcome on arrival. Food was a delicious selection and although there’s no cocktail list they readily made whatever we wanted. It’s an idyllic & quintessential place with the original features preserved & a modern touch. The night we stayed was so cold so the log fires in the bar/eating area was lovely and the bedroom was perfect. Everything was so comfy we could’ve happily stayed a lot longer! "
