"Room, food and location were good. Reception staff were poor. Getting info on parking arrangements was like drawing teeth. Paid for 2 rooms but when my friend went to check in an hour later, he was told he hadn't paid. No apology was given when proof of payment shown later. Paid for 2 breakfasts each when checking in but on arriving at restaurant each morning no record of booking on list and had to show card payments to staff member who was very good. Time to sharpen up your act me thinks."

"Stayed here for one night stayed in room 6 lovely room very clean just found the bed the pillows very hard and the bed very very small… like to watch to in bed with a brew before sleep but couldn’t to very very small and very poorly situated on the wall I would definitely stop here again but I would bring my own pillows… didn’t have the breakfast but there looked a lot off selection from cereals and pastries perfect for 1 night stay loads off areas to walk "

"Apart from the noise of the traffic in and around the guest house it was a great place to stay unfortunately the nearest parking was either on some estate 2-5mins up the road and in bad conditions not ideal or parking at the Severn Valley Railway which Station it’s self(£4 charge for 24 hour parking) however gates are locked at 7:30pm. Otherwise a nice place friendly staff"

"Best place to stay near BHX Airport. It is a peaceful and quiet farm with adequately sized and clean rooms. You can get to the airport in less than 8 minutes (and that’s with all the confusing construction going on around there!). "We stayed the night whilst travelling down from Manchester on route home. We would HIGHLY recommend staying here. Immaculately clean, lovely rooms and you even get yoghurt and granola and a homemade flapjack for the morning. The bed was really comfortable and also parking easy just a couple of doors away. Also there is a lovely little cafe on the ground floor. "

"Kateshill is an absolute gem and manager Sam made our recent stay a joy. She makes you feel like you are home from home. The full English breakfasts are incredible. The bedrooms are huge. "You get what you pay but very run down property and amenities were not up to scratch. Really noisy building so if you are wanting a good night sleep then good luck. Check in was really easy and good but front door seems to be not closed properly by others so never felt fully safe during my stay. Again it does the job and you get what you pay for "

"Place was clean inside shared bathroom, kitchen and dining. My room did not have a mirror so it was very inconvenient make sure you request a room that has mirror. Overall inside was very comfortable. To be honest outside was not the best area but once you are in the house it’s very comfortable.
