"We enjoyed our time at this hotel. I mostly selected it due to it being above 2 metro stations (with 4 metro lines), central to all the places in Tokyo that we wanted to visit and it’s in a quiet part of town. Service was terrific as we utilized the concierge and enjoyed our included breakfasts each morning (thumbs up for the housekeeping folks also). I would stay here again if revisiting Tokyo."

"I like a very quiet, clean, good nick hotel. This hotel clearly fits. I was pretty jet lagged and didn't appreciate someone banging on the door for turndown service right after I got to sleep. There was a do not disturb button I couldn't see in the dark but it worked once I found it. The Japanese restaurants were probably good but I couldn't get a reservation when I wanted and probably looked too shabby to get in without one. I'm pretty much a peasant and look like one. Next time I'll go...

"Shangri-La Tokyo is conveniently located next to Tokyo Station and was a great place to begin and end our trip to Japan. The views from the rooms were spectacular especially at night. The staff was wonderful and they made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. And the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was delicious especially the strawberry waffles and ricotta pancakes. We appreciated that the staff spoke English as we only spoke a little Japanese. We really enjoyed staying at this...
