Rydges Melbourne

4.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (537)
"All in all good stay. Only things I did not like are the breakfast buffet, which looks good but is actually very disappointing (not really a lot of options or tasty) and the room is quite small with very limited storage (and they use some of it for the minibar snacks). The elevators and lobby do get busy, but was not an issue for me."

Laneways by Ovolo

4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (1003)
"Pros: location can’t be beat. Tons of bars, restaurants and cafes, free trams in the CBD, near all the points of interest. Comfy beds and nice pillows, 307 faced the back alley and was quiet. Free coffee and happy hour wine, plus the free candy bins was a cute touch. Free laundry? Yes please! Cons: strange layout - apparently the architect has never actually stayed in a hotel. World’s tiniest bathroom, Huge living room, yet nowhere for guest #2 to put their stuff. Spotty wifi. All in all,...
