"The property is going through a renovation which they were very upfront about. Having stayed at many big chains over the last several years thought I’d give an old favorite a try. Glad I did, front desk staff were friendly and attentive. Some areas were under construction but everything was clean. For the first time in years there was maid service on a daily basis. "Jimmy (the receptionist) was very kind and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Everyone there was very nice, breakfast was good, and it was very clean. "

"The room was extremely humid. There was no ventilation in the bathroom / shower. The water was dripping from the windows. The help desk sent an engineering team to check. All they did was turn the heat down to 60s, so the room didn’t feel humid. On a piece of paper they wrote, they fixed the problem. We were offered another room, but given our short stay, and the fact that we were told other rooms were the same, we decided to stay. Hopefully the problem can get fixed for the future guests. "
