"We found this townhome to be very rustic on the outside but very modern and updated inside. When we built our house we had parquet floors throughout and Berber carpet just like the bedrooms in the townhouse so we especially loved it! The stairs were a bit much for both of us due to knee injuries but we managed. A railing going downstairs would have been a huge help. It would be nice if the dumpsters were closer by the unit. "I wasn’t happy that there wasn’t too much leniency on early or late check ins or check outs. Most other hotels I have used in the past have allowed checkins as early as 2am day of as well as 2pm for check outs. This includes Hilton, Marriott and best western. The diamond resort was just purchased by Hilton so hopefully in the future they will be lenient for request from guest. "This is a great location - may be the closest spot to stay on the way to the park that includes the beach. Accommodations are simple, but the price is right. We stayed here with 6 adults. The pull-out bed downstairs was cracked in the middle so the mattress sagged. I told the host about it after we left and he said he had a guy who would fix the bed."
